How to configure external mailbox at SME Server 7.2

when you create domain at sme server, You will be able to send and receive mail and host a website on that domain.

But if we have domain and host a website at provider, we need to do something at our SME server as following the below step.

Download and install the fetchmail package.
Then "wget http://www.schirrms.net/files/smeserver-fetchmail-utf8-1.3.5-02.noarch.rpm"
followed by "yum localinstall smeserver-fetchmail-utf8-1.3.5-02.noarch.rpm"
  • then do the below command
    "signal-event post-upgrade"
    "signal-event reboot"
  • Then in server manager, go to Mail retrieval under Collaboration in the left-hand menu.

      Thank, for this howto. but how do the same for out going mails?

      objective is to have SME server sit between isp mail server and local lan; work with external isp mail box for both send and recieve; provide smtp/pop3 services for local lan with antispam and antivirus features. thanks in advance.
